Spring is in the air and Yggdrasil has captured one of the season’s most popular merrymaking events in its latest release, Buster Hammer Carnival, from YG Masters partner studio ReelPlay.
It is the Sydney-headquartered studio’s fifth online slot published through the YG Masters program, following the gold-seeking quest, El Dorado Infinity Reels, which was released by Yggdrasil at the top of the month.
Bonus round and features:
The 3,125 win ways festival of fun features a 5×5 reel layout in the base game, with opportunities for expansion during the “Mighty Free Spins” bonus to a 5×8 grid. A bustling and bright carnival serves as the backdrop for the new title developed via the Swedish gaming company‘s preconfigured, regulation-ready development toolkit, GATI. By utilizing the technology, ReelPlay is able to consistently build “cutting-edge” content and deploy its creations faster globally.
“We’re very fond of Buster and had some fun with his animations in this title where we extended his cheeky character.”
Animated carnival strongman Buster is the star of the show as he bides his time standing next to the reels, preparing to test his strength by pummeling the High Striker when a Wild Hammer appears. Both the regular Wild Hammer and the Gold Wild Hammer substitute for all symbols, which includes 9-A card values, a trio of bullseyes, a hot dog with ketchup and mustard in a bun, and a pair of carnival tickets, except the Scatter. If one or more Wild Hammer symbol appears in a win, the Wild Striker Feature is triggered.
The Gold Wild Hammer can appear on each reel, however, only shows up during the Wild Striker feature. Just how much effort Buster puts into his strike determines how big the wins will be via the expanding wilds.
Landing at least three scatters triggers the Mighty Free Spins bonus round. When that happens, the big top’s canopy expands to make room for the extended reels, making for a huge 32,768 ways to win potential.
